Year 12 Brain Day
In order to complement the A Level Psychology and Biology courses at Parmiter’s, Dr Guy Sutton of Nottingham University hosted interactive study days for A Level students on the topic of the brain in July 2024. Students learnt about the different aspects of the brain, including Alzheimer’s, dementia and neurobionics and schizophrenia and neurocriminology.
Dr Sutton used presentations and the dissection of a sheep's brain to help explain the complex functioning of the brain.
